Hotwire is beating a lot of it's competition nowadays. Hotwire displays a list of hotels, including their general locations, star ratings and prices. Priceline on the other hand makes you bid against others for the hotel rooms, and you don't learn the hotel rooms, and you don't learn the hotels name until you've bought the room. This makes hotwire a better place to book hotels and flights.
